Quality control (AQL 2.5)
Independent third-party inspection before shipment: print registration and color versus approved golden samples, dimensions and construction, glue and fold integrity, finish defects, and compression or drop performance where relevant. Color drift is the most common complaint, so we inspect against physical samples, not screen proofs.
MOQ
Factory MOQs typically start around 500–1,000 units for folding cartons and mailers and 300–500 for rigid gift boxes. We work to a $10,000 FOB order minimum overall, so packaging often needs to reach that value on its own or bundled with the product. We'll flag when your volume is below a factory's economical run.
Lead time
Sampling runs 7–15 days; mass production 15–35 days after sample approval, with rigid boxes and specialty finishes (foil, spot UV, soft-touch) at the longer end. Lead times tighten sharply around Chinese New Year, so build in buffer if your run lands nearby.
Freight
Ocean freight is roughly 30–40 days port-to-port to most Western markets; air is 5–10 days for urgent, lighter shipments but far costlier per unit. Packaging is bulky and light, so it's rarely economical to air-freight at volume — we plan cutoffs to keep it on the water.
